Can MJ also play Mp3-files?

Yeah it can.
Just import the files you want to play using: Tools/Import
select the directory with your songs in it and MJ will import them into it's database.

Then just select them and right click and choose play.

thanx but why doesn't it work with me? I imported a lot of files, just the way you said, but when I start playing it.... nada, niente, zippo, nothing!
The message I see is that "MJ was unable to play any of the files in the playlist. Please make sure that the path in the MJ library points to the right location. Also double check that you are not unintentionally filtering these files." What do I do wrong???

Copy and paste your system info here (from MJ Help).

See the buttons in the player window (lower left)?  Click on the one on the right and check your filters.

What happens if you click on one of the files from Windows Explorer?
