Bug?: Alphabet navigation in thumbnail view does not work

When I press a letter in an alphabet on top of thumbnail view nothing happens. I went back and checked 15.0.172 and it worked there.
Does anyone else experience the same problem?

Up until this build, grouped Panes didn't work either.
