Audio level during ripping??
« on: February 03, 2011, 04:22:52 pm »

I have started doing some ripping and am finding the ripped record audio levels are all over the place from on CD to the next.

What are the recommended setting I should have in MC15 to normalise the recording audio level?

Appreciate some assistance in understanding the correct setting and how they work.

Thanks Matt,

I have scanned that info.

Interesting I checked that "Analyze Audio  During Ripping" was selected under Options.>CD&DVD>Expert Option > and it was selected. I then went back to check their ripped albums were analyzed during the ripping process using the "Analyze Audio"  under Tools > Advanced Tools > Analyze Audio and found that they had not been analysed??

I then put them through the "Analyze Audio" process and after that the audio playback levels seem to be reasonably consistant across the albums now. Should not the a Analyze "Analyze Audio  During Ripping" process be done during the ripping process? Why would I need to do it manually again?
