Missing Cover Art
Alex B:
What does the Image File library field say? Is the field value "Inside File" ?
You can add the Image File field to "Action Window > Tag" or as a column to a list view. The latter would be better because it can display the field values of many files.
Also, could you explain what exactly you mean by "I have no Cover Art?"
For example:
- not visible at all. No cover art images can be seen anywhere.
- not visible in the "cover art" display visualization during playback, but visible in the Standard View as thumbnails.
- not visible in standard library views, but visible in the "cover art" display visualization.
- not visible in Theater View.
- only some of the files don't have cover art.
- or something else, please explain...

Image field=Inside file
No Cover art= I can see no cover art where there should be cover art (no thumbnails, no art in theater view, no art in cover view, etc.) My library in MC 15 has cover art for every file.
hope that helps clear things up...
Alex B:
I don't know what is going on. If cover art is "Inside File" then it at least should show up in the standard cover art visualization during playback, even if the thumbnails are not yet build or MC is somehow prevented from saving the thumbnail cache files correctly.
As a test, could your select a bunch of files and do: right-click > Cover Art > Rebuild Thumbnail ? Can it create the missing thumbnails?
dees_74:
Tried rebuilding and the thumbnails did not appear. Interestingly, the Image File discussed earlier went from 'Inside File' to blank after rebuilding the thumbnails

Could this be a Windows 7 permissions thing? I noticed that I can't get MC16 to search for cover art either? Works fine for MC15.
