I'm with MC since version 7 or 8
and made all upgrades all the way through to MC14 - and skipped MC15 the first time.
My impression is that all new features and developments circle around "TIVO" and not so much around music abilities.
My use for MC is strictly for organizing, tagging, editing audio files (a lot of them) and playlists - I have nothing to do with TV or video handling.
I don't even make use of DLNA, because I have my home hooked up with Squeezeboxes (SlimDevices / Logitech) which handle communication with a system of it's own.
Will there be any real advantages to upgrade to MC15 from my perspective ?
Should I wait for MC16 ? Will MC16 be more "audio-centric" ?
I guess I'm not the only one who isn't so much into TV and video stuff.
Another question which might help with my decision:
Will I be able to (automatically) import all settings and views from MC14 to MC15 - without having to recreate anything, or having to set and import paths, libraries, views, etc. manually ?
If I install MC15 and everything will be same like I am used to, it might be easier to go for it.
Than it's just a question of money and not time.
Any opinion is welcome
