Forward/Rewind DVD's using remote

Does anyone else find Fast/Forward and rewind for DVD's/VOBs using the remote a bit jittery (probably the wrong word)?

I have problems where after I've let go of either button the play resumes beyond where i had forwarded/rewound too.
I also find actually finding somewhere difficult as the rewind/forward is not very smooth.

I've tried different versions of FFDShow to no avail...

I have pretty smooth forward/rewind, but I see the same issue you report with the playing resuming beyond the spot where I press play again. This resume point can be several seconds after the spot. This is true in both directions.

I use AC3Filter, Cyberlink Video decoder and Enhanced Video Rendere for DVD playback. Files are locate on a NAS.
