I have 74 albums with covers stored in the files. I've confirmed this by adding an Image File column and they all say inside file. I also want to have a jpg in the album folder too however when I run Save Cover Art to External Location Specified in Options it seems to only want to do 23 albums. I've tried setting the option to the default filename and folder.jpg but it still just does the same 23 albums. All Albums display cover art in MC16 fine.

What's stopping it from extracting all the images?

I believe all these images were originally embedded into the mp3s in the first place with MC14.

So what exactly happens when you select just one of the 51 "problem albums" and try to run "Save cover art to external location ..."? Do you get an error message?

What is the exact folder path and does the folder contain any image files? (Including hidden and system files - you can make these visible in the Windows Explorer options.)

I get no error messages even if I select just one problem album.

Hidden and System files are turned on now and still nothing shows.

An example would be D:\Music\Coldplay\X&Y... Album Art is showing fine in MC16, column lists as 'Inside File', all Track, Artist, Album Artist and Album fields are tagged fine.

Just nothing happens.


Note: Cleared Library, imported Music folder with Get Cover unticked and build thumbnails ticked.

Just re-read what I typed and the 'Note' I posted sounds like I fixed the problem. I haven't. The note was just to explain my last efforts to try and get the cover art to an external location.
