For some reason I still randomly get "Exclusive Mode Failed" messages when madVR tries to switch from Windowe to Exclusive mode.

Once I get this message I get a lot of dropped frames.

You might look at the 'Handles' column in Task Manager.  Is it high when this happens (over 1500)?

Has there been any progress on adding hardware accel to madvr? I'd like to use it madvr, but my amd zacate setup simply isn't powerful enough w/o the hw accel.

I'm using GPU decoders myself.  LAV CUVID is a CUDA decoder that Nevcairiel wrote for nVidia cards.  Cyberlink Video Decoder has HAM mode for AMD cards.  That offloads all video decoding to the GPU's but still brings the decoded frames back into system memory for madVR to do its rendering magic.  Best of both worlds.  :)

Hi - when you get time do you mind adding some details of the Cyberlink HAM Filter stuff to this thread http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=63282.0 - I think we have the others covered so far.

Sure.  I can do that tomorrow. It's late here.
