I opened MJ and the "recently imported" menu item was missing.  Now when I import files, I cannot find them.  Where did it go and where are the files I imported?

If you're using version 8, it's there, but it was moved to Playlists.

You can set the title bar above the library tree to display "recently imported."  I find it very convenient to click the bar to quickly return to the list.

Thanks for the help.  JimH, I looked in the play list but I could not find it there.  I took Shelly's advice and added it to the title bar and when I clicked on it it did not show the "recently imported" it show all the items in the playlist.  Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Under "Settings" "Options" "General" there is an option to "Clear Recently Imported on Exit".
If this is checked then MJ deletes the "Recently Imported" playlist altogether on exit.

Next time you import something, MJ recreates the "Recently Imported" playlist and shifts the "Drop Target" (the title bar above the library tree) to "Recently Imported"
