Selecting DD or DTS tracks without a menu
« on: May 09, 2011, 08:00:34 pm »

Is there a way to select which audio track is played from a vob file without a menu? I have both tracks copied and DTS flashes on my AVR then goes to DD.

Try the arrow keys during full screen playback. Selecting the audio stream should be possible.

Having said this, I think there may be a bug here though. Last week I tried selecting the DTS track for a DVD I was watching via the DVD main menu but MC would not select it. It kept choosing the DD track instead. I'll try to provide more details.

Yes, this confirms what I'm seeing. That's why I wasn't sure if my original advice was going to help you. I believe there's a bug here. For DVD's, MC won't play the DTS track even when explicity chosen. It seems ok for other video containers where DTS is the only available stream however.

Matt/Yaobing? Are you seeing the same thing?
