Not sure if this is the right place, or if there is one.
Is there a way to convert SD/HD copy freely TV recorded in WMC to a protable format to watch in MC?

I'm not sure what you mean by a portable format, but I think JRiver MC will play the Windows MC .wtv files natively without conversion.

I remember some discussion on the forum late last year about it - probably before MC17 was out, not sure. Try wtv in the forum search and see what you get.

I've never tried Windows MC in earnest, so can't specifically confirm for you, but I'm pretty sure you'll have it working OOTB. Try importing your Windows recording folder into the JRiver MC library and see if it'll play one of them.
