Need some help eliminating Judder.
« on: June 18, 2011, 05:31:03 pm »

Hello

Using the demo I performed an update before using. Tried a few BD backups m2ts and I am getting a juddering issue. Almost like a motor boat hum it purrs along then ship purrs along then a slight jump/skip. I have a Nvidia GT340. It is not a refresh issue. I am getting this at 60 or 24. I also have TMT5 and it is playing flawless. I have not made any changes in the setup with MC it is just as it came. Any idea what I may try to resolve this.

Thanks in advance.

In Tools --> Options --> Video try turning on "Video Clock" (this will work well to remove the last judder if you have set your refresh rate = media fps)

Tearing is a sign that your CPU/GPU is not keeping up with the demands of the decoding/rendering.  What is your HW config, what is your MC Settins (eg Red Oct Std or HQ) and what type of file is tearing?
