MC16.0.111 DSP Tempo control
« on: June 20, 2011, 09:24:33 pm »

Hi - I use the tempo control to watch educational videos at increased speed. Works great, except when I tried it today it is not working. When I slide the tempo control to the right to speed up playback the video increases speed very briefly (like < 1 sec) and then reverts back to normal speed, even though the slider stays at the increased speed position.

This was definitely working last time I tried it (around 2-3 weeks ago). Can anyone confirm that this is working / not working for them? I can't think of any setting I could have that would switch this off. I'm using mp4 files with this feature.

Thx
Paul

You will have to turn off Options > Video > VideoClock if you want to manually control the rate of video playback.

VideoClock takes control of the Tempo & Pitch DSP and uses it to synchronize perfectly with the video.
