Podcast 'play's but no audio.

(1/1)

Couch:
I don't really know what to say here.

Media Center plays movies and music just fine - I can hear both.

But when I play a podcast there is no audio.
The Spectrum Analyzer suggest it's playing - but I don't know what or how it's analyzing.

Even while I type this Windows Alerts and other applications are audible. But no Podcast.

Matt:
You could try picking a different sample rate and channels in DSP Studio > Output Format, in case the Podcast is some low resolution file that your hardware doesn't like.

You could also try the trial of Media Center 16.

Bingo - Thanks Matt.

Channels were set to 'Source number...'
I changed this to 5.1, No Mixing, 60 Hz
Did not need to change the Bitdepth.

Thanks too for recommending MC 16.
Unfortunately I think I'm at the end of the line with MC - I've been with you since v9 I think, but without support of my iPod I can't justify it. Yet.
MC has been awesome for managing my Library, the smart-lists, pod-cast support etc.
