MC Captures Remote Control Commands from Focused Program
« on: June 24, 2011, 01:00:37 pm »

I have a Windows Media Center remote control with Windows Media Player running/in focus and Media Server running in the background.  Play and Pause control WMP as expected.  However, Skip Fwd/Back and Stop seem to be captured by MC such that they are not processed by WMP.  If I close Media Server these commands are processed by WMP as expected.  Is there any way to have MC not capture these playback control commands if it is not in focus?  Thanks.

Search options for 'media key' and try other modes.

Do they make a difference?

Yes, the "App Commands" mode works as expected.  Thanks!
