16.0.121 Fast Forward Sony Blu-Ray

I have version 16.0.121 auto-updated. I am unable to fast-forward any .mkv videos when playing back through ethernet (wired) to a SONY Blu-Ray player. Movie looks and sounds fine, but no seek is permitted.

I DO have ps3 compatibility switched on.

Any ideas?
