User fields in view schemes

Using MC 16.0.160

I added a new user field. When I customize a view, the new field is available to Add to the View As section.

However, if I go to "set rules for file display" and try to set a rule, my new custom field does not appear in the drop down list of fields. 

This is the first user field I have ever created in MC16. All of the user fields that existed when I upgraded my library from MC15 work fine.

Is it a bug?

Restart MC...  User fields only fully show up after a restart.

That worked....I had to reboot the machine.
