Some files fails to import
« on: May 28, 2002, 03:31:02 am »

I've begun to import new albums to MJ8 by right-click -> import in the Explorer instead of scanning all files (takes too long time to do that). But sometimes MJ8 doesn't import one or two mp3's so I'll have to import them separately. And it doesn't seem to be something wrong with them since it works fine the second time.

I haven't found a pattern on the bug, so it's difficult to reproduce. Btw, it also (sometimes) report that all files were imported, though they aren't... any ideas?

Otherwise, I still think that MJ is the best ever! (except for the vis, nothing beats Geisswerks productions...too bad he works for Nullsoft Next Page)

Can you try the latest build?

Could also be a bug in Explorer.

Check the "(unassigned)" tree node in artist/album. Could be the same problem I had. Delete the database entry and reimport again. See if that works.

I've tried two albums now without any problem...hopefully it's gone Next Page
But I have my eyes open for it...and if I catch that bugger again, I'll make sure it's reproducable Next Page
