If you want banner / pop up free webhosting (and free cost too) check out www.doteasy.com ...

You have full website without pop ups of banners... Full configurable mailserver that can handle multiple POP's and webmail / alias's / autoresponders etc... FOR FREE !!!

It only works on domains but you can sign up for one (through them for 25 USD) or transfer in for $35...

I host about 5 sites including some business ones that need to be 100% uptime... To be honest this free service is better than the service I used to pay $12 a month for !!!

Sure only for some pic host etc then loads of places like fortunecity / Geocities etc all do this kind of thing but have darn pop ups and other annoyances for surfers...

The way I see it 25 reg fee then free for life webhost (but you do need to maintain the name so add another 10 - 15 usd per year for domain ownership to get a mail server / etc is too good to pass up... I have changed ISP's so many times and lost email accounts that everyone knew me by I swore I would ever do it again.. this way I own the darn name and can take it anywhere..

EG does Steffen@Brandsborg.net not sound appealing (oops a Peter Brandsborg has that, any relation ??) better have Steffen@Brandsborg.org or .com... sure sounds better than a hotmail

I am not trying to persuade you I just think its a great deal... Thats who hosts my sites and check out how fast they are etc...

OK cool...

Just would point out that when you have control of a mail server you can also

Have both web based and pop collection...
FWD messages to a cellphone...
Copy and FWD all messages to your Hotmail account (so you still have everything you have now plus the..)
Calender... erm OK you got me here... Buy a Palm Next Page !!!

Anyway for free webhosts try http://www.freewebspace.net/ for a searchable database that you can choose what aspects are important (transfer limits / size / pop ups etc)...

Also for just images etc yahoo / msn / others do pure image hosting free..

Mouse -

Here are my ideas, in the order they popped into my head:

1) Just post all your stuff to a thread here on Interact, and let JimH provide the web space.

well, ok...

2) http://freeservers.com offers free web space, but with banners and pop-ups.

3) http://catalog.com got rave reviews from cNet.  You pay $35 a year for domain name registration, and they give you free fast webhosting with lots of extras.  I'm pretty happy with them.
