Ripping problem
« on: May 26, 2002, 02:37:53 pm »

[JimH moved this section from the bug thread]

When I put a disc on my CD-RW and want to rip, it goes to cddb and before I say Jack the drive pukes
the disk out.

when I put it on the DVD-Rom thoe, it's OK.

Is it a problem with me or my computer?

[JimH asked oogi to turn off digital playback of the CD and start a new thread]

[oogi begins ]
It didn't help.

When I choose the cd (cddb and digital playback disabled) it chages the colors to windows xp look for a fue

seconds, sometimes with blank inside it, and then writes "Gathering information and updating view...",

and then just opens the CD-Drive.

P.S.

If i put a cd that was read first by the DVD, the CD-RW takes it.
