if you select a lot of files and remove the tags or, update them from the library, the progress dialog box comes up, if you tab away to let it do its thing and then come back before its finished you dont get the dialog box (and sometimes the windows task bar goes missing as well), just MC and the windows "please wait" spinning circle icon, click on MC and windows thinks its crashed. i presume it hasnt and its still processing the tag removals.
i would have thought that dialog box would be set to app modal.
its very repeatable, ive done it about 4 times in a row now on separate batches of files. you just have to get enough to be able to tab out and back in before its done.
oh, it does come back if you give it enough time.
why arent the remove and update from library processes run in the background like all the other tagging operations?
