Burning mp3s to root directory?
« on: May 24, 2002, 10:24:48 am »

I tried using Media Jukebox this morning to burn a quick mp3 CD this morning on my Windows XP notebook. i did it this way:

1. Created a new playlist.
2. Added the desired songs to the playlist.
3. Went to the playlist, selected all the songs, and directed Media Jukebox to create a data CD.

However, when I tried to play the CD, I found that the mp3 files were put in a folder hierarchy on the CD that matched the folder hierarchy on my hard disk. I want all the mp3 files just put in the root of the CD. How can this be done?

MJ Version 8?

If so, in the CD burning dialog, choose Options/Rearrange CD Folders/None.

In version 7 you uncheck the "use folders" option.
