What type of file are you playing?  Do other types work?

Could you use Help > Logging and post a log?

Thanks.

Is it the pause button on the remote control? What remote is it? IMon/WMC/else?   Have you mapped the 'pause' key to a key press or 'media' commands?

I assume Ctrl-P on the keyboard works.

I reassigned the remote codes to keypress on my remote, 'pause' and 'play' are equivalent in my system ( both mapped to Ctrl-P).

Oh ... You mean you click on the pause button in the Mc window with the mouse and it doesn't work? Bizarre!

Sorry - I misunderstood.

If you mean the pause button on your keyboard, try changing Options > General > Advanced > Media key mode.  It sounds like it's being handled twice currently.

Or configure your keyboard software to send a pause command to MC16.exe:
