I think something broke in playback.

I'm connected to my server's library, I select an album's thumnail then click on the PLAY button that appears over the thumbnail.

The first file starts playing, as it should, but the 2nd track doesn't play.
If you go to Playing now, all tracks are listed, but once the 1st track has finished playing, the list disappears and you get the "there are no files" message. This is consistent but only when playing back from my server. My local library with the same settings works fine.

General > behavior > Double-click: Add to Playing Now (play now).
Play button: Play Playing Now

EDIT: More information.
There appears to be a new item in the tree called LINK under which there are two options:
- There: Here
- Here.

I think perhaps There: Here was selected when I was having those issues.
However, I selected "Here" and the same issues happened.
I VNCd into the server and saw that it was playing the same songs and had the same Playing Now even when I changed it on the client (in "here" mode).
I stopped MC on the server, selected different items for the server's Playing Now, added new items to my client's Playing Now and things seemed ok but...

OK, now I see.  After the first song finishes playing on the client, the "HERE" button gets greyed out. So both buttons under "Link" are greyed out. Then you either get "there are no files to play" or the "Here" button becomes green again and the previous song in Playing Now starts playing.  The funny thing is that when the "Here" button on the client goes gray, and the "Play Doctor" appears above the file list in Playing now, the exact same thing happens on the server at the same time.

Re unintelligible post above (I had no clue what was going on...)

I had mistakenly checked "Show playback zones from the server on the client" and that's what was causing all the issues. I unchecked (and also unchecked "play local file if one that matches...", rebooted, and all is well again.

Still, I wonder if showing the plaback zones is supposed to cause such issues, especially when "here" is selected on the client.

Embedded cover art in mp4 files is not used for thumbnailing. This bug now is fixed in MC17 beta. Will be fixed also in MC16?? please solve it, I need this function!!  :'(

With newer Media Center versions than 16.0.164 my Olive2M doesn't find the media server anymore.
It shows me on display: No Media Server.
But on Media Center itself the Olive is shown in Playing Now List.
Playing music is also possible by using Media Center.
Another problem is that unfortunately my last "stable" version was deleted so
I can't check out wether this problem is solved now with Media Center 16.0.181.
If it doesn't work I'm not able to do a fallback to the old version.
How can I get Media Center 16.0.164?
