Video Rendition Problem on MC16

Same machine, same file, same everything.

       MC12.....


       MC16.....


Any ideas...?

A few ideas. Are you using an Intel onboard GPU by chance?

Yes.
Intel 8542G Express chipset.
But there are two such in the house. And the other one doesn't do this.

Try unchecking the HW Accel option in Tools --> Options --> Video --> General Video Settings and see what happens (there is plenty of comments on the web about DXVA HW Acceleration causes issues with later Intel GPU and Drivers...Not all is lost however, as there are some opensoruce dev going on a present to bring better GPU decoding to intel GPUs).
