I'm fighting to resist the iWorld! 

Can JRiver's MC automatically clean up my very messy music collection with ID3 tags like TuneUpMedia can?  Like can it go through the entire collection at once and clean it up, get the artwork, correct the names of the songs, etc?  Problem with TuneUpMedia is that it only works with iTunes - and I'm trying desperately to avoid iTunes! 

Here's what else I'm trying to achieve! 

1. I travel a fair bit, so want the physical songs on my network drive at home, but also a backup portable drive.  If I buy a song (from Amazon say) when abroad, I want to be able to play it on my Sony Walkman or iPhone device, have it on a Playlist, but also have it sync'd to my main machine's MC and network drive at home when I return. 

(If I tried that on iTunes, it would scrub the device!)

Basically, I want to be able to manage my playlists from my PC or laptop, either from home or when travelling, and if I purchase anything when abroad (say from Amazon) it will sync between the two. 

How do I achieve this?
