Author Topic: JRSS problem, center channel bleeding to left/right, fine in MC16  (Read 1393 times)

I've noticed when watching TV shows where the audio is encoded in 2 channels and the dsp is set to JRSS Surround that the dialog that would normally be coming from the center channel is spread across all the front channels. I have gone back and tried MC16 and it works as expected. Same settings and plugins between MC16 and 17.

You're right.  This was because of the change away from using an expression for media sub types to Carnac in v17.

It'll be fixed in a coming build:
Fixed: Center-focused JRSS up-mixing was not engaging properly for some video content.
