Several weeks ago I noted a problem on my modest setup. My output was locked on kernel streaming, which did not work on my PC. I finally figured out that that problem was caused by running a registry cleaner software. When I stopped doing that and reloaded the MC program, it worked, BUT, only with WAV output. No other option functioned.
My adored spouse gave me a Nuforce headphone amp/dac for Christmas and SHAZAM, the other outputs now work...
So, it appears the DAC in my new Toshiba is limited as to output but the Nuforce opens up a host of options...AND, that very inexpensive DAC sounds great! Just thought I'd share.
