MC/HD-PVR status
« on: November 15, 2011, 12:29:42 pm »

Hi all,

It looks like MC is getting into TV more - GREAT!

I have a few questions about the Hauppauge HD-PVR:

Can MC record to M2TS or TS using the Hauppauge HD-PVR?
If not, is there an option/program to convert to a standard format from the JR format?
It looks like there is still an issue with voice/video sync with the HD-PVR (not using time shift).
Is there anything in the works for this issue?

I haven't used MC (15) in quite a while, but I would like to get back to it...

I've been using Arcsoft TME since the latest Hauppauge/Arcsoft updates work well for me...
 1) I can record in M2TS
 2) video/voice sync is not an issue
 3) STB/remote response time is excellent (less than .5 sec)
 4) I can watch Live TV in full screen, and see/use the Windows taskbar

FYI:
My biggest problem with the HD-PVR is instability changing channels using STB surround sound (5.1) -  (not a JR issue).
I have Uverse / Cisco STB.

There is a recent BETA HD-PVR driver on the Hauppauge site.

Thanks, David

No.  But recording in TS format is on my list.
