SRS Audio Sandbox
« on: November 12, 2011, 09:25:26 pm »

Anybody else use SRS audio sandbox?  I upgraded to MC 17 so I could use it to encode my music when i transfer it to my mp3 player but I can't find the file it's asking for.  When I try to add it as a plus in i get a pop up box asking for the .dll but it doesn't like any of the files i picked. I also tried adding it directly from J river but the link is broken.  Any help would be appreciated. I'm running windows 7.

I used it for 14 days once, to try it out. From what I can recall, it wasn't ever used as a plugin within MC, per se. It acted as a sound device for the whole system, or somehow acted as a DSP for the sound card driver. In other words, I didn't think that it could be used to re-encode files just to alter all sounds going out through the sound card (including Windows system sounds, etc). I could have missed something of course, but I don't think I did.
