Feature Proposal: Ripping DVD-Audio discs
« on: November 15, 2011, 12:32:23 pm »

Hi,
I just upgraded to MC 17 from version 15. Then I realized that DSD audio format is supported now.
An interesting feature but it's hard to get such files because SACDs cannot be ripped.
It should be easier to rip DVD-Audios however. I know, this is a dead format. But this is exactly why I'm asking.
I have a small collection of such discs and I wonder what I should do when my player has died. It will not be worth or even possible to buy a new one.
Therefore it would be great to just put the music onto the hard disc and forget about the player.

You can rip DVD-audio using DVD-Audio Explorer 2008 (free) or DVD Audio Extractor ($32.50 USD).
