Autoimport name wrong
« on: November 16, 2011, 07:26:49 am »

Hallo,

when I'm running autoimport of MPG files i.e. "bla bla - bla(ZDF)(03-01-2009)(23_28)_01_00.new.mpg" media center will display this as name: "09)(23 28) 01 00.New" but the name have to be the filename.

Could you post a couple full, actual filenames?  Include the path / folders as well if you don't mind.

Thanks.

I was seeing similar behavior a few weeks ago, and figured it was seeing the date as series/episode information, and was taking whatever was after the 03-01 and using that for the name.  However, in your example, you have 2009 as the year, but indicate that it's only starting the name after the 20 part of the year, which I don't think was happening for me.

I just changed my dates to use _ instead of - and that 'fixed' it for me, FYI.

Anyway, specific examples should help Matt fine-tune the rules for automatic filenaming.
