Computer is 2 years old. Win 7 Pro 32-bit. It ran MC 15 perfectly, and has been running v17 perfectly for about months. Suddenly, I see this error when I set DSP Studio to upsample 44.1k files (CD rips, WAV) to 176,400. It will upsample to 192,000 without error.

DAC is Prism Orpheus 24/192 Firewire (http://10audio.com/prism_orpheus.htm). Disregard what I said in the review about the Orpheus being difficult to use. With the adjustable sample rates in MC v17, the Orpheus automaticall adapts to whatever files are playing.

I think the problem is a new, faulty 64bit driver that somehow was installed, probably a JRiver update. Just a guess, though. Ideas?

Thanks!

I uninstalled the device from Device Manager and rebooted. Windows automatically reinstalled the driver and all is working fine now.
