JTV / Commercial Skipping

Hi

Can anyone from J River advise whether commercial skipping for jtv files is somewhere in the foreseeable development path? I'm wondering whether to switch to ts files (would prefer not to), or just wait.

It's not a JRiver problem. The files have to be 'marked' by the Comskip program (nothing to do with JRiver) before MC can know they are commercials to skip. The developer of Comskip would need to be somehow convinced to support the marking of .jtv files.

I have an HDPVR and so far in MC it will ONLY record .jtv files. As a SageTV convert that was a very happy user of Comskip I have been pleading for JRiver to enable TV recording with the HDPVR using.ts files. I believe those that use the Hauppauge Collossus have the same issue.
