I've recently tried my 88.2 6 channel test files again and find that I cannot output them directly via Wasapi to the amp.

My amp definitely supports 88.2 (and 176.4) via HDMI, and reports as such in the EDID gained from Moninfo. However it doesn't show up as supported in the Windows 'Playback Devices' properties pane. I've changed NVIDIA drivers such a lot recently that I think it's probably the drivers that don't support it.

Anyone else seeing this with NVIDIA?

Windows 7 64 bit SP1, NVIDIA GT430 driver 285.79(IIRC). I'm a bit reluctant to try the 290 beta driver with newer Audio driver as there are reports of borking custom resolutions with it which I use for 23.976.

Of course upsampling to 6ch 192 works fine!
