Search List Question
« on: December 22, 2011, 06:29:42 pm »

Will J river ever allow search lists to have nested entries?

In my view scheme I the first pane is a search list and it is the only one...

I have many different entries in it which belong to different functions, such as Sorting (Sorting my files), Sort (Sorting such as New / Old etc) amongst others...

If we could make an entry that others could nest under would really clean up the list, as well as give an extra visual cue as to which list is for what...

I could just write the function before the name like (Sort: New / Old).. I did it like this before to segment the list but found it quite ugly having the word Sort repeat so many times..

I know that you could just use a nested smart list view but there are some things that a search list pane can do which a smart list pane can't (I can't exactly remember what though, but I know there is a difference)

Merry Christmas
