Strange Green Bars in lower right corner of video
« on: December 21, 2011, 03:51:25 pm »

When playing jtv on a MC 17 client from a MC 17 Server library, I am now getting strange green bars displaying in the lower right corner of the picture. Screen shot attached.

This happens with RO STD but not RO HQ

It seems like EVR isn't working well for you.

Maybe Red October HQ (which uses madVR) is a good choice?

Updating video drivers might also help.

I get similar green areas if I use EVR or do DXVA deinterlacing via madVR... So, I guess it is related to deinterlacing? I have Catalyst 12.1 and hd5650...

It's a common issue. Try increasing the amount of video cropping to 3%. That should fix it. I think the default is 2%.
