Dts Ma
« on: December 23, 2011, 10:11:50 pm »

     Hello  I know you get tired of this kind of questions;

   When I play a music video, say from utube, in tools, Audio Path its "Input 44.1Hz 32bit 2ch". In the Madvr display it says "aac, 44100 Hz, stereo, 147 kb/s" That's OK we
know its 147 kb/s

     When I play a bluray disk in tools, Audio Path its "48KHz 24bit 6ch" In the Madvr display it says "English [eng] (dts-hd ma,48000 Hz 5.1 1536 kb/s)"

The Question is am I playing  full HD or just the core 1536 kb/s?   I have the dtsdecoder

It should be full DTS-HD MA. It has a variable bitrate, so cannot be read/displayed properly. Just the core bitrate is displayed. This has been asked before, including by me, and I'm satisfied it's the right answer.
