DSP Analyzer - loss the waveform!

Can somebody offer me a little insight into the ANALYZER window in the DSP plugin?  There are two boxes in the lower corners of the visualizer.  Like a fool I messed with them, and now I have no visual image.  What do those boxes represent, and how can I bring back the visual feature?

They're the frequencies to analyze.

Try these two values:

i have a question concerning the DSP Analyser too. Why is the analyser showing no constant frequency response when white noise is played?
What is the y-axis of the plot?

The y-axis is energy.  The x-axis is frequency using a logarithmic scale, just like human hearing.

Pink noise will be a flat line and white noise will show an upward slope.

can I expand the amplitude in the spectrum analyser? that's the vertical scale
 I can change the horizontal scale OK but there isn't a facility to change the vertical scale??

Hello Matt,

thank you very much for your answer  :) The y-axis is linear I assume.
When I look up the spectra in wiki, white noise should be a constant line along the whole logarithmic frequency axis.
Pink noise a downward slope. Or did I misunderstood something?

In the meantime I did some research :) your y-axis is logarithmic too and adopted to the human hearing?
Then it's clear, that white noise is showing a upward slope. Could you add a label to the y-axis? Or like Gandali requested
the possibility of changing the scale?

PS: What's the meaning of the three different colored lines?

Each line on the y-axis is 3dB.

The different colored lines are the different channels (and one line is the sum of all channels).

Adding better labels is on our List of Good Intentions.
