storage extension issues.
« on: January 13, 2012, 05:17:11 pm »

Hi all,

So .. ive ran out of HDD space on my HTPC, so have bought a second hard drive to start filling (internal) but I cant see how to either ;

 -get the computer to see it as an extended c;

Or

Get JRiver to see both drives as one library.

I just want to carry on building the library as I was before, and use it in theatre view without manualy selecting the drive>folder each time I want a video in the new HDD.
Im sure theres a solution to this...

Any help appreciated!

The easiest method would be to configure auto-import to scan files from the new file system (Tools > Import > Configure Auto-Import, add the new directory under your new drive).

There are other ways to configure Windows to mount the drive into an empty folder on your C drive, or group the storage into a large volume.
