Possible TV playback bug
« on: February 24, 2012, 07:43:59 am »

Hi,

My installation of MC 17.0.91 is consistently crashing when TV playback is stopped. The software otherwise seems to be working fine.

I previously needed to use AC3Filter to keep the sound working when switching between channels - but this now doesn't seem to be necessary. I have just switched the setting for .jtv playback to 'automatic' and I've also re-scanned all my TV channels but I still get the same crash. I am in Australia, so I have a DVB-T setup and I'm using a HVR-2200 PCI-e.

Happy to provide any other specifics or send a log if that would help.

thanks

Stuart

I can reproduce the crash when Hardware Acceleration option is turned on.  There maybe a problem in LAV video decoder.  We will investigate.  Meanwhile please try turning off hardware acceleration option (Tools > Options... > Video, uncheck "Hardware accelerate video decoding when possible").

Thanks - that's done the trick!

Cheers, Stuart
