Is "Export Playlist" broken?
« on: January 19, 2012, 12:11:33 pm »

I was trying to export a playlist to M3U format for use in another product but I got some weird results.  Instead of the typical list with a fully qualified path and file name the list is in the format of m01p://192.168.0.12:52199/MCWS/v1/File/GetFile?File=109618

No other programs can understand that.  ?

You would get that if you're connected to a Library Server.  In that case, filenames are URLs back to the server.

Yes, that is from a client connected to a Library Server.  But is still does not make sense.  Why create a useless playlist?  When you create an HTML list from a Library client it has the correct path and filename so you have the ability to create an appropriate playlist.
