ISO9660 image
« on: May 13, 2002, 09:57:35 pm »

I keep trying to burn a disc of mp3's and I keep getting the error message "Error: ISO9660 image is too large to fit on disc"  Anyone have any tips on resolving this problem?

Try with less songs, even if it should be obvious...

I tried fewer songs, and this hasn't worked either.  According to the disc capacity, the disc isn't full.

For testing purposes, make sure the number of minutes you want to burn is well under the capacity of the drive.  Also check what you have the drive capacity set to (options).

For example, if the drive is set to 80 minutes, burn less than 70 minutes.

It's also possible your drive does not support 80 minute burns.  74 minutes was standard a few years ago.

I tried with only a few songs - no dice.

I tried adjusting some of the settings, new CD-R's - without success.

The weird thing as that it has worked fine before, and this is a relatively new problem.  Any other ideas?

I can only tell you to look hard at the FAQ again, especially at ASPI.

I don't recognize that as our error message, but it could be.

In MJ, go to Help/System Info and paste it here please.  Might show something.
