when i do a batch of file format conversions from ape to flac it starts off flying but slowly grinds down to a trickle. I use Win 7 64 and MC16 is using very little CPU or memory so its not a lack of computing power. (AMD PHenom 2.8ghz and 4gb Ram)

When it slows down and you click on any other part of MC16 it goes into a a not responding state but if you leave it a minute it comes back.

I am only choosing 3 files at a time to convert.

I notice this also if MC16 is doing a large import of new music- it just wants to be left alone until finished processing or it hangs.

I have MC16 on two computers - this one in my office and also on my audiophile music server which is a faster processor and 8gb of ram- that one also hangs under intensive loads.

I suspect it has to do with libraries or library location or configuration as I have an external 500gb drive which i have a library on and MC16 flies through any task when using that.
