For the last several builds, MC has not retrieved series art for me. On metadata lookup it retrieves the episode thumbnail, but not the series thumbnail for use in Series views. Has something changed? Or have I somehow configured things incorrectly.

Handling of series art seemed to stop for me around the time SeriesID was implemented. If possible, can series coverart be attached to this ID instead of the series field itself? There are several instances (Doctor Who, The Office) where series name is the same but SeriesID is different.

I've seen this too. Current builds continue to pick up my existing series art (saved in the location specified in the options), but new art is not retrieved. If I add the art manually (and name it appropriately), MC seems to pick it up....

+1 It seems like I get thumbnails only for TV, so I've been trying to be very careful to not let my existing cover art get overwritten with manual data lookup.

Series images for television can be retrieved with Cover Art > Get From Internet.  This is working for me.

If you leave auto-import enabled with the 'Get cover art' option checked (the defaults), the program will do this automatically for your television.

Thank you Matt - I was looking for it with the "Get Movie & TV Info" feature

So how can we use our own coverart for series?
"Coverart > Paste from clipboard" changes coverart for the individual files, not the series...

Change the actual image on disk? It's stored locally in either the User data or under JRiver program folder somewhere. When you change the images on a Library server, you have to sync and restart MC for it to pick up the changes I think.

I would love a 'Add series art from clipboard' and 'Add artist art from clipboard' option, just so it's built into the program.
