How to play a specific smartlist on startup?
« on: May 11, 2002, 01:30:23 am »

Sometimes people accidentally click with the mouse, or whatever, and "Playing Now" gets messed up.  I want it so that everytime I restart my PC, the same smartlist is always started.  Is this possible?  I tried exporting the Smartlist and putting that in the startup folder, but it seems there is no way to export a smartlist - you can only export the current static value of a smartlist.  That is, by exporting it you lose its "smartness".

Yeah, you already tried the only real solution. (making it an unsmart playlist and launching that)

Remind us, and we'll make a way around this for version 8.1 or 9.0. (whatever comes next)

Until then, you could try doing some crazy "send keys" macro or something, but it'll be a kludge.

Take care.
