if the images could have some drift. by drift i mean slight movment of the backdrop images.
i think this would give the backdrop images a much more fluid look. it would be best i think for listening to music, as it would give the illusion the drift would be going with whatever music is playing. it would still look good woth videos.
i know of some photo programs have features like this when playing slideshows. also i know that last fm does this on the xbox & it looks really good.
i suppose this feature would be best if a user could choose whether or not it is enabled as i'd imagine it would require slightly more graphics processing.
i think that the stock backdrops would benefit from not being affected by the image drift, only the ones coming from the internet.
I had a look on youtube for a video of last fm to show what I mean but couldn't find one.
