The program keeps crashing when attempting to analyze replay gain. I receive the following error message:

Critical error: MJ failed to save a necessary database file.
c:\program files\jriver\media jukebox\data\temp.jmd
as c:\program files\jriver\media jukebox\data\mediafiles.jmd

>>Forgot to mention earlier that I am also seeing a problem importing from a cd into the library. The CD shows as unassigned in the CD & DVD tree. I have had this in the past but a update of the library or cloisng and restarting MJ would get the CD name to appear neither of these is working now.

>>OK after more testing it appears that only the first import from a CD drive will now show thw Volume Name. Any subsequent imports of oter CDs from the same drive show the uneditable name of "unassigned".

Hope I'm not being a pest but here's more info-If I access files on the same CD through the CD, DVD, & Handhelds part of the the tree either before or after the import then the volume name is shown in the CD & DVD tree in the library. If I have the "search for files in subfolders" setting checked in device settings then I only have to access the cd it self not individual files. So it appears that unless files are acessed dierectly on the CD then MJ is not reading the Volume name. Could this maybe be a result of making the "analyzing devices" less aggressive?

I was converting some apl files to mpc and there was one file that would not complete. I converted it to wav which went fine then I tried converting it to mpc and it still stalled almost to the end (same spot). When I manually converted the file (command prompt), then it worked fine.

I'm using mpc1.01j.

I keep finding multiple MediaJukebox processes in the task manager process list. It seems in some condition process remains alive when the process is suppose to exit. I've noticed this for several builds

Claudio,
Please start a new thread on this problem.  It may have to do with a 3rd party program.  Please copy and paste your system info and describe what other software is in use with MJ.

Thanks,

Jim

when the cursor is over a grid line the line disapears and you have to scroll the page to get it back and where ever the cursor is at it does it again.

Location bug when sorting by this type of location:

drive:\artist\album\mp3\file
drive:\artist\album\mp3pro\file

Notice the similarities. It combines both of them as one and sorts the file names. I have to make separate directories to know which type of mp3 it is.

> · CD Labeler never gets any Cover Arts as background images
Confirmed

Also, refused to show the selected background image (jpg)

CD Labeler crashes after successfully printing a cd-label the first time, but successfully printed subsequent times.

When there are files in playing now that are not imported, when trying to change a genre from a file (imported or not), MJ crashes.

Doof,

Are you still unable to download the NomadII Plug-in?

Similar problem to JohnH

I also get the 'can't load TWAIN driver' error message, however, MJ does not complete the scan when 'ok' is clicked.  If I attempt to click on 'scan' a 2nd time, MJ freezes. Scanning through XP scanning wizard works fine.

HP PSC 950 all in one.

Steve> I did manage to get it (and the Sleep Timer plugin - Yay! - Did you guys change something to make this work or was my system just having some problems?).

I haven't had a chance to test the changes, though. I had to attend my girlfriend's graduation this weekend. I'll test it tonight.

CD Labeler crashes after successfully printing a cd-label the first time, but successfully printed subsequent times.

The cover art problem will be fixed in the next build.
I can't reproduce the other problems. Could you print your system info here and email me the cd label file (the .mjl file that you save from the labeler) that exhibits the behavior? Also please send the jpg file (or files) that go with it.

Thanks,
John T.

Hi,

The "numberplays" keyword in search/smarlists does not seem to work in 270.
It was Ok in 265 !
numberplays=0 returns all tracks in the database
numberplays=1 returns nothing !

Doof,

I am not sure what changed, but I am glad you got it downloaded. If you can test and let me know the results, that would be great. Congrats to your girlfriend.
