Bluray External subtitles

I would like to ask if there is a possibility to load external subtitles files - for ex .srt - during bluray playback.
I tried to load it trough a postprocessing filter like ffdshow or directvobsub but without sucess. In MPCHC there is no problem and I was hoping jriver could do it as well.

All popular subtitle formats are supported (and some unpopular formats!).

Just use Red October Standard or HQ.

Pay special attention to the section 'Sidecar naming rules' if your sidecars aren't showing up.
