I manage my music library in MediaMonkey run MediaMonkey as a DLNA server. I load this in MC but have been seeing 2 entries for every file in the library.
Ive put up with this for quite a while but now want to solve it. Note that MediaMonkey only shows one listing per file.
I also noticed that one of the MC listings has the correct file location on my hard drive and the other has an ip address. This is the address of a device that's listed in Network and Sharing Center as a J river network device (probably the MC DLNA server).
I also had a problem getting the auto synch to work, So I did it manually using "Run Auto Import Now". This finally updated the missing files.
Curiously... the newly ripped cds appeared in the library but only one listing for each file. Yay.
There must be some way to fix this - can anyone help?.
BTW this has persisted over numerous upgrades (now on latest version 17.0.99).
